Joshua Dildine

Joshua Dildine

Joshua Dildine is a Fresno California based painter who uses autobiographical photographs as the armatures for his gestural, abstract brushwork—producing colorful surrealist paintings that originate from a deeply personal space. Dildine (b. 1984, CA), received his MFA from Claremont Graduate University (CA), and has been featured in numerous exhibitions in Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, and Murfreesboro, amongst other locals. His work is included in the public collection of the Sweeney Art Gallery at the University of California Riverside (Riverside, CA), The Frederick Weisman Museum of Fine Art (CA), The Honolulu Art Museum, and The Museum of Art and History (Lancaster, CA). He was the recipient of the 2010 Claremont Graduate University Award.
